Some adverts really annoy me, some make me smile. I know there are far more meaningful things in the world to worry about but surely sometimes we need to lighten up a bit.
The advert on the link below is just plain lazy.
It makes a grand boast that, well to be honest, don't seem right to me.

It tells the viewer that, if you have a partial denture you are 2x as likely to lose the supporting teeth.
Two points here. If you don't have a partial denture there are no supporting teeth to lose.
Point two, if you have a full set of dentures there are no supporting teeth either.
What are they going on about, or more to the point, what are they comparing the probability against.
Twice as likely to lose supporting teeth, compared to, well, nothing really.
Poligrip, making grand claims that are, quite frankly meaningless.
I hasten to add though, that I am in no way saying that the product dose not work, that is not the issue here, the issue is the meaningless statement.
